Traditional Japanese Architecture from the Taisho era(1912-1925)

Overlooking the Ango Bridge and the Houjou River, the NAKAMURA HOUSE was built in 1917 as a
villa by TAKAYUKI AMANO, also owner of the BENTENZA, one of the most famous 5 play houses
of the Dotonbori area in Osaka.

Mt.Otoko-yama and Japanese Garden

The large Japanese style tatami room (25m²) w/ upper tatami floor (5m²), called a DAIKADOU,
is flanked with a large open veranda and a study room. The rare design of its ceiling is a very
valuable heritage not to be built with the modern architecture technology.
