昨年末12月26日に父方の祖母が逝去し、新年のご挨拶は失礼させて頂いておりました。
早々に賀状を戴いた皆様にはお礼申し上げるとともに、失礼をお詫び申し上げます。
暦の上ではもうすぐ春。遅くなりましたが寒中のお見舞いを申し上げます。今年は殊に寒い日々が続いています。
風邪も流行っているとのこと、 皆様方のご健康を心からお祈り申し上げております。
本年も何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

At the end of 2005, (26.12.2005), My grandmother was suddenly dead.
This sudden death makes our family feel sorrow. This new year, we are
in mourning.
I always make drawings of the flower when our family is in mourning.So
this time I made a camellia. This is one of my favorite flowers.
I hope my grand mother like it.
Well It is already spring according to Japanese calender, But it is
still cold now.
